Living With a Red Personality

acceptance appreciation living with differences personality red personality understanding differences Apr 03, 2018

Each of us is born with unique talents and personalities, making our understanding of ourselves and our partners complex. Living with a partner with a completely different personality can be challenging, but it also brings diversity and excitement to relationships. Today, let's explore one of the most energetic and motivated personality types – the Red Personality.

Traits of Red Personalities:

- Love attention and are willing to work for it.

- Radiate energy and joy, attracting others.

- Competitive, unwilling to settle for second best, and strive to bring something new to the world.

- Considered dreamers but back their dreams with realistic plans and hard work.

- Many famous artists, actors, politicians, and musicians fall into the Red Personality category.

Here are 5 rules for living with a Red Personality:

  1. Learn to Love My Red Side

Acknowledge and appreciate the energy and motivation Red personalities bring. Promote and leverage their strengths. Delegate tasks that align with their abilities. Be supportive, laugh at their jokes, and avoid unnecessary competition.

  1. Help Throttle My Speed

Assist in managing their speed and energy to prevent burnout. Provide subtle signs when they need to slow down. Encourage concise communication to keep up with their pace. Be patient and find ways to slow them down without embarrassing them.

  1. Keep Me on Track:

Help them stay focused on real progress amidst their many dreams. Encourage setting clear goals and asking about them regularly. Gently push back when their ambitions seem overwhelming. Keep them accountable for strengths and weaknesses.

  1. Help Me to Build Other People:

Encourage Red personalities to use their gifts to lift others. Teach them ways to relieve pressure on others during social situations. Provide feedback on how others perceive them. Remind them to inquire about others and create signs for social cues.

  1. Partner to Keep the Dream Alive

Be the greatest champion for their dreams. Help set boundaries and communicate needs for safety. Turn dreams into action through gentle encouragement. Use language like "Our dream" or "Our goals" to involve them in your dreams. Respect and support their big dreams, finding ways to make them more achievable.

Living with a Red Personality requires understanding, appreciation, and collaboration. Embracing their energy and dreams while gently guiding them can lead to a fulfilling and vibrant partnership.
